A safety factor is built in for truck and travel vibration. The rail version will hold 8,000# with up to 3,600# on the upper tier. The fold-down will hold 5000# with 1250# on the top tier.
Will my current plastic or wood pallets fit on a shipping frame?
Yes, the base footprint as well as the upper tier are designed to fit all plastic and wood pallets that measure 40" x 48." Our shipping frames can be customized to fit your particular pallets should their dimensions fall outside the standard 40” x 48”.
Can a shipping frame be adjusted to fit my product?
Yes, the leg heights can be customized from 36” to 65” depending on the version of shipping frames required.
What if my product is larger than 40" x 48"?
You would be a perfect candidate for our BUF (bulk utility frame)version which could be customized to fit your product.
What if my truck is close to the weight limit?
You don’t have to put 26 frames in the truck. Add the number of frames with double-stack ability to reach your weight limit. You may only need 5 or 10 to achieve this limit.
If I am interested in using the shipping frame as a temporary storage/warehousing unit what will the weight limit be?
In a static position in a warehouse, the shipping frame will hold up to 6,000#.
Are you open to customizing a frame to fit my specific application?
Yes, our engineering team would be happy to work with you to expand the shipping frame end uses. Some engineering charges may be applicable.
Can I ship various products on a shipping frame?
Certainly! We have customers who now can customize their shipment to their specific DC’s that include cleaning supplies and food products since the lower tier pallet does not come into contact with the upper tier pallet.
